stayed at another homestay in senaru before but tiu kelep homestay blew me away! incredible staff, treated me like family. the owner took me for dinner with his family and even invited me to his home for a meal. the rooms were comfortable, clean, and had a lovely view of the garden. location couldn't be better, right across from the waterfalls. highly recommend!

breakfast options were limited

We have been staying for 2 nights in this apartment and they were memorable. The room was wonderful with lovely terrace at a great location right opposite of the entrance to the waterfalls, pleasant to stay in. The balcony was overlooking inner courtyard.

everything was great, me and my friend thoroughly enjoyed the stay. it was marvellous and stunning on the jungle. furthermore, it was close enough to a beautiful garden, rinjani volcano, and the start point for rinjani trekking.

For the price we paid, Tiu Kelep Homestay provided excellent value. The room was clean, spacious, and had a lovely view of the garden. The location was great, right by the entrance to the waterfall and surrounded by nice restaurants. The best part was the incredibly kind and generous staff who went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They were knowledgeable about the area, lent us a scooter, cooked us meals, and even kept our backpacks safe while we hiked Rinjani. The owner even invited us to a family ceremony, giving us a special insight into local traditions. If you're planning on trekking Rinjani or exploring the area, I highly recommend staying here.

Great location for Tiu Kelep waterfall trail. Cheap trek to Rinjani organized with gear provided by friendly host. Free night offered upon return. Clean, spacious room with garden view. Good breakfast including sticky rice. Helpful staff with local recommendations and activities.

My fiance and I had a fantastic stay at this budget-friendly hotel. We stayed for two nights as part of our trip to explore the area. The owner, Buana, was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He took us to his house for a delicious dinner with local food and even introduced us to a tasty local drink. The highlight of our stay was the special insight into local traditions and way of life that Buana provided during a family ceremony. The hotel itself is clean and the rooms are spacious with a lovely garden view. The location is perfect, right near the entrance to beautiful waterfalls.

The room at Tiu Kelep Homestay was just perfect! It had a private bathroom with a shower and free toiletries, which made me feel right at home. Plus, there was a balcony for me to relax and enjoy the stunning views. It even had soundproofing, so I had a peaceful night's sleep. And the fireplace added a cozy touch that made me never want to leave!

Personally, I wasn't a fan of the fireplace in the twin/double room. But hey, that's just my taste, and I'm sure others would enjoy it.

The daily breakfast offers an amazing variety of Asian, vegetarian, and vegan options. I was delighted to indulge in the flavorsome Asian breakfast every morning at this delightful accommodation. It was truly a culinary adventure!

No hot water in the shower.

Great value for money, room was clean and comfortable with lovely garden views. The location was perfect, right across from the entrance to the waterfalls. The staff at this homestay were amazing, so friendly and welcoming. They even took us to see their rice fields and cooked us a delicious curry. Definitely recommend checking out the women's panorama trekking tour too!

Food for breakfast could have been improved, the banana pancake was a bit too thick and bland.

I had a very good time and would definitely come back. Both my family and I felt warm here. It was located in a fairly nice area just off Indonesia and waterfalls. Staff was superbly friendly, and I liked the owner. A walk-in shower and bath sheets were available.

Our stay at Tiu Kelep Homestay was truly outstanding. We were amazed by the staff's hospitality and their willingness to go above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The location was perfect, just a short distance from the start of the hiking trail to Tiu Kelep and Sendang Gile waterfalls. The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The garden was beautifully landscaped and added to the overall ambiance of the place. The guides, especially Marco, were extremely helpful and made our sunrise trek a memorable experience. Despite a few minor drawbacks such as limited power sockets and average WiFi, our overall experience was fantastic. We highly recommend this homestay for a great value stay in Senaru.

Finally found a homestay that has it all! Great food, friendly staff, and amazing location near a beautiful waterfall. I even got to try a local drink that tasted like UK cider; a unique experience!
